The Digital Product Manager will lead the end-to-end user experience for custom built and third-party integrated digital products and features across all BrüMate digital platforms. They will partner with Creative, Marketing, Operations, Web Development, Analytics, and Sales teams to understand user needs, design and test MVP’s, and scale new UX/UI experiences on our websites and internal tools. All work will be rooted in data, combining quantitative analysis, user feedback and retail/eCommerce insights to help craft intelligent recommendations that will continually improve user engagement, usability, and conversion metrics.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders across the company to bring product visions to life – ensuring requirements are clear and user needs are met, trade-offs are made and communicated as needed, and that the finished product achieves its primary goals, on schedule
Conduct user research, monitor market trends, and leverage ecommerce reporting & data analytics tools to better understand user needs and behaviors and identify opportunities to help users better find, research, compare and convert on products across our online stores – direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and international sites
Interview internal stakeholders, define acceptance criteria, and design enhancements for internal custom-built technology and tooling
Manage digital product roadmaps and project timelines in collaboration with in-house and agency development teams
Define and prioritize user stories, facilitate Agile planning meetings, attend daily stand-ups, lead retrospectives, and participate in backlog refinement sessions with development
Partner closely with design counterparts to create product and feature UX mock-ups that combine core value propositions, brand guidelines, and digital UX best practices
Conduct UAT ahead of development deployment cadence for new feature/product releases
Develop MVP’s and execute on plans for testing impact – including running A/B/n testing and calculating expected revenue lifts for each new feature/product once it is implemented
Manage stakeholders communications across marketing, operations, customer experience, creative, and technology for ongoing project workstreams
Inform tooling and budget needs for enhanced front-end experiences (CMS), UX/UI designs (wireframes/prototypes), project management (Jira, Asana) and user research (user testing, surveys)
Partner closely with development, design, and merchandising to document new UX/UI elements in Site Element Library
Inform additional in-house and agency team hires needed across development, design, and analytics to support digital product roadmap plans and timelines
QUALIFICATIONS
3 – 4 years of relevant digital product management experience
Experience in digital direct-to-consumer sales / eCommerce required
Strong track record working with engineers and delivering digital products against a deadline
Data-driven user-centric approach toward product development. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others on the team
Deep empathy for user needs and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
Experience documenting UX/UI elements for continued use and using wireframe mock-up tools (Figma, InVision, Balsamiq, etc.)
Understand design thinking concepts like User Journey Mapping, Persona Development, Usability Testing, User Research, Discovery Workshops, Empathy Mapping, and User Story Development
Knowledge of A/B/n Testing and MVT best practices and familiarity with common CRO tools (VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, Monetate, Adobe Target, Mouseflow, Crazy Egg, Hotjar, etc.)
Prior experience working on Shopify Plus websites preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Flexible and adaptable; can be agile with shifting business needs
Willing to take on challenges to learn and grow skillset
Experience using tools like Jira, Asana, and Slack for project management purposes
Prior experience working on product development team in a startup environment preferred
