The Innovation Architect leads the technical strategy within the WDS Innovations Center (WIC) which is separate and distinct from DDWA’s dental benefit core business. The WIC is an experiment-encouraging environment where future models are tested against educated hypotheses and rapid, high-impact findings are collected. We apply proven innovation methods like Design Thinking and Lean Startup to identify and design future models of care delivery that focus on reducing costs and broadening reach. We seek partnerships with mission-minded stakeholders – providers, technology partners, sister Delta Dental companies, healthcare systems, legislators, community leaders, funders – to bring us new capabilities and insights and to propel us forward faster.
Our vision is that all people can enjoy good oral and overall health, with no one left behind. We succeed because of a shared commitment to a set of values that guide everything we do – for our customers, for our communities, and for each other. We are Accountable. We lean in with Courage. We stay Curious. We are Inclusive. We act with Integrity.
