What you’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of full-stack developers
  • Ensure a software release cadence that regularly delivers value to our customers
  • Partner with Product Management to define features and prioritize requirements
  • Collaborate with architects and developers on specifications, designs, standards, code reviews, and test capabilities
  • Play a key role in all architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions
  • Partner with Dev-Ops, QA, and Support teams to release high-quality software and ensure its reliable operation in production
  • Develop and manage career development plans for team members to grow their professional skills, attain greater responsibilities, and address areas for improvement
  • Conduct regular employee performance evaluations and recommend individuals for promotion
  • Mentor developers in business and technology best practices to encourage professional growth
  • Supervise developer productivity and code quality
  • Manage employee work schedules, vacations, and team coverage

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience managing a technology organization
  • 10+ years of technology experience in more than one of the following technology orgs: software, hardware, product, data science, and IT
  • Experience leading an entire scaled technology business unit
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technical understanding of linear and non-linear systems
  • Proven success working with product management, contributing to high-level product strategy
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Applied Science discipline preferred
  • Able to think strategically and think big picture
